Rogers Park covers a vast area on the North Side, from Devon Avenue (6400 North) to the Evanston border to the north. It runs from the lake to west of Western. West of Western at that longitude is technically West Rogers Park but who's counting! Clark Street is a major retail thoroughfare, with heavy bus and car traffic. Ridge has historically been a large border line in the community too. East of Ridge has many single-family houses but is more characterized by multi-family brick vintage buildings, rental and condo.  West Ridge gets more of its flavor from its single-family houses on big lots.

Loyola University is in Rogers Park; they have their own CTA train station on the Red Line called "Loyola." There are some large parks here too. Indian Boundary Park (which is just west of Western) even has an outpost of the Lincoln Park Zoo!
