Wicker Park is immediately to the south of Bucktown. There is a beautiful historic district within the neighborhood, which is defined as Division to North Avenue (1200 to 1600 North) and Ashland to Western (1600 to 2400 West). There is an actual "Wicker Park" south east of the triangular intersection of North, Damen and Milwaukee Avenues. The park has a lovely new fountain that has built-in benches. Surrounded by greenery, the fountain is a great place to linger in summer for lunch or a date!

The housing stock is very varied. While tall elevator buildings are few and far between in Wicker Park and its surrounding neighborhoods, there are lots of condos, rentals and houses of all styles.

The CTA blue line of the train services the communities, running both to the Loop and O'Hare Airport. Trendy shops line Damen, North and Milwaukee, along with thrift stores and creative one-of-a-kind shops.  Wicker Park and Bucktown are the site of the well-attended, annual "Around the Coyote" art festival featuring local artists.

For further information about the area, check out the Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce website via link here. There is a Wicker Park Garden Club too.
